On another note, cymatics is pretty awesome. We got to watch a video on it in my sound for animation class. Basically, its the movement of particles based on the presence of sound waves.
Substances will move in certain patterns and certain directions according to the placement of the sound waves. Different substances will react different ways, sand will make patterns, liquid will flow certain ways, but my favorite is probably glycerin, which you'll have to see the videos for

In any case, I've started developing a world that relies very heavily on cymatics (not that it doesn't affect ours, but this one I'm working on is just make more use of it. I imagine its a very loud place.) and will make a series of animations of it later.
